Aberdeen software development company lands £85,000 in new business

Independent software development company DEV4 Online has landed four contracts for work in the energy sector totalling £85,000 in the past three months.

Managed by software developers Rob and Gail Henderson, the company has over 12 years’ experience developing software solutions for the oil and gas industry and specialises in programmes to streamline data management.

The recent work has come from existing clients, TEMS International, Muehlhan Deutschland GmbH and Clarksons Platou as well as new client RSS, a field marketing company. The latest agreements will see DEV4 develop a bespoke online application to increase accuracy and efficiency, as well as improve functionality of existing applications.  

Clarksons Platou Offshore has been a client of DEV4 Online for 19 years and recently signed a 24-month extension to receive around-the-clock technical support from DEV4 for its Sea Assure, Sam3 and Market Intel applications.

Muehlhan Deutschland GmbH has tasked DEV4 Online to roll-out software to two new international locations in France and Poland.

TEMS International have hired DEV4 Online to develop two new reporting interfaces, to be used to display information and data to end user clients in a clean and easy to understand fashion.

Christian Lautier, Technical Director at Muehlhan GmbH said: “We are pleased to be continuing to work with DEV4 Online, who with this contract will help bring consistency and uniformity to our data across several different geographical locations, streamlining our information and improving efficiency.”
