UK-wide expansion continues with multi-year contracts, and 20 new clients for security testing business alone

Eurofins Digital Testing, the global leader in independent Quality Assurance, (QA), testing and cyber security for software systems and devices, has completed a strong first half year, with its security division, Commissum adding 20 new clients and £1.45 million worth of new orders, while its software testing business, Edge Testing, has secured a raft of new deals, including Electricity North West.

The 20 new cyber security based contracts focused on providing penetration testing of client IT systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for effective security countermeasures. Commissum’s five most recent major contract wins have generated over a quarter of a million pounds alone, bringing the total value of new contracts won in the past six months to over £1.45 million.

The Commissum contracts for leading organisations cover a variety of sectors including hospitality and leisure, legal, healthcare, financial services and central government sectors.

Eurofin Digital Testing’s software testing business, Edge Testing, has among others, secured Electricity North West as a new client, which sees the company deliver software testing services onsite and remotely from Edge Testing’s Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow Regional Technology Centres.

The security and software teams have also jointly secured functional, non-functional and penetration testing contracts for an English NHS Board.

Eurofins Digital consists of Edge Testing as the software testing arm, Commissum offers pentesting and security while Eurofins in Bristol supplies device testing.

Sharon Hamilton, UK Managing Director of Eurofins Digital Testing, commented: “These new client wins are a testament to using Eurofins as a partner for all testing requirements. Rather than clients having to find three separate companies for outsourced testing of security, software and devices, Eurofins can cover all three from one company. This means that our clients can satisfy their quality assurance requirements whatever their testing needs, leaving them to focus on their own business success and growth.”

An international team, including 200 testers in Bangalore, supports Eurofins Digital Testing’s portfolio, and the company has plans to continue its global expansion.
