Glasgow-based AI chatbot and messaging technology company Konversable has raised £300K following a successful investment round. The round attracted funds from a broad range of UK and global high net worth business angels, with support provided by commercial law firm Davidson Chalmers Stewart.
Konversable’s innovative technology enables businesses and organisations to have ‘smarter conversations’ with their customers online. It supports a wide range of clients across industries including automotive, recruitment, dental, property, financial services and hospitality by providing lead generation and AI-powered chatbots and live chat, as well as sophisticated WhatsApp Business solutions. The company works directly with companies and organisations and alongside strategic partners to implement its offering on a white label basis as part of a wider technology solution.
With a strong UK client base, Konversable has also secured clients in other global jurisdictions including Ireland, Singapore, and Australia. It has also formed strategic partnerships with other tech providers and web agencies within the UK and overseas.
The investment proceeds will help Konversable further develop its global customer base and accelerate its successful work with Enterprise brands. Funds will also go towards product development to further enhance user experience and to scale up the company’s strategic partnership programme.
Konversable CEO Wes Beard said: “We’re delighted with the success of this investment round and will channel these funds towards growing our global footprint and further improving our innovative range of online chat solutions within a rapidly moving AI landscape.”
Co-founder and Director Stephen Upton said: “We are proud to work with UK and global organisations, both directly and through partnerships with other tech companies, to implement custom-built chat and messaging solutions which suit their specific requirements. The support of our investors will play a key role in helping us scale our business on a global level.”
