EMPLOYEE-owned software provider, Voice Technologies, has gained accreditations from Investors in People – the prestigious ‘We Invest In People’ Gold accreditation, and the Investors In Young People ‘Good Practice Award’ Silver accreditation.

The accreditations are in recognition of the company’s focus on its staff and its employee ownership model. They also come in the year that the company is celebrating its tenth anniversary of becoming becoming employee-owned.

The Gold and Silver accreditations mean that the company has policies in place but, much more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to apprentice – takes ownership for making them come to life.

Experts at Voice Technologies work with organisations in the healthcare, local government and professional services that are looking to save time and money by streamlining their document workflows through the use of speech recognition and digital dictation to speed up processes.

The company partners with industry-leading hardware and software tech providers such as Microsoft, Nuance, Philips and Olympus, as well as developing custom apps in partnership with clients when unique solutions are needed to fit existing systems.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Voice Technologies. Attaining these Gold and Silver accreditations is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Voice Technologies in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

Commenting on the awards, James McPherson, CEO of Voice Technologies, said: “We are all delighted to have been awarded Gold and Silver status by Investors In People. We believe that the success of our organisation begins and ends with people. If we make work better for everyone, the team and our clients and stakeholders, we help make society stronger, healthier and happier.”

Investors In People is a community of 15,000 organisations across 75 countries and make work better.
