David Langstane covers Scotland’s technology sector, from fast-growing startups in Edinburgh and Glasgow to the research labs and engineering firms shaping the country’s digital economy. He has a particular interest in how Scottish innovation, from space and robotics to cyber security and fintech, finds its way into the wider world. Before joining the team, David spent more than a decade reporting on business and science for regional and national publications. When he isn’t chasing a story, he can usually be found walking in the Pentlands or arguing that the best tech stories are about people rather than products.
