Meta has launched Meta Enterprise Platform, a new business line designed to help companies use AI to grow and transform their operations.
Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s founder and chief executive, described it as “the next major pillar of our business”. He said the platform will draw on Meta’s advanced models, agents, large-scale infrastructure and years of working closely with businesses.
Initially, Meta Enterprise Platform will focus on bringing the company’s full technology stack to businesses and developers, including the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code.
The platform will be led by Chirantan “CJ” Desai, who joins Meta as chief enterprise platform officer, reporting directly to Zuckerberg. Desai was previously chief executive and president of MongoDB. Before that, he led product and engineering at Cloudflare and spent nearly eight years at ServiceNow, including as president and chief operating officer.
Desai said: “Meta Enterprise Platform will focus on turning its AI stack into products and services that companies can deploy for their own businesses. As with Muse, security and privacy are built into Meta’s enterprise products from the outset. Our goal is to make Meta the place enterprises come to scale their businesses.”
