CGI named on World’s Best Places to Work List

CGI, one of the largest independent IT and business consulting services firm in the world, is delighted to be listed in the top ten of the ‘Very Big Organisation’ (2,000+) category in the UK’s Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2024 for the second year running.

In the annual survey, which is independently conducted by employee engagement specialists WorkL and completed anonymously by employees, CGI was rated ‘Excellent’ across all six workplace engagement categories of reward and recognition; information sharing; wellbeing; empowerment; instilling pride; and job satisfaction.

CGI received a 90% Average Engagement Score from its UK-based employees, scoring 14% above the average industry engagement rating when compared to other organisations in the IT industry.

The survey results highlight that CGI’s employees, referred to as CGI Partners as they are owners in the company, have confidence in their management and feel they work in a well-run organisation. The survey scores also recognised CGI’s strong diversity, equity and inclusion culture, as CGI Partners are encouraged to ‘bring their whole selves to work’, supported through numerous CGI Partner-developed and led networks. CGI was also highly commended in the Best Places to work for ethnic minority employees, and were again highly commended in the Best Places to Work for 16-34 year olds.

The firm, which has offices in locations across the UK, also offers comprehensive health and wellbeing programmes, including Oxygen, CGI’s award winning health and wellbeing programme that provides global, regional, and local initiatives to support mental and physical health. General wellbeing is encouraged through the provision of trained Mental Health First Aiders; ergonomic assessments; and preventative solutions to common health risks.

Tara McGeehan, President for CGI in the UK and Australia, said: “CGI is proud to once again take its place among other highly regarded organisations on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, 2024. We are a company that takes real pride in our workforce and believe that if we look after our skilled and talented professionals then the business will be stronger as a result, leading to even higher quality service to our clients.”
