LEADING Aberdeen-based IT provider, IT Hotdesk has announced a date for its next free business webinar on how to avoid phishing attacks.

As part of the company’s business insights campaign, which is designed to keep businesses and individuals informed on the latest technology, IT Hotdesk will deliver the webinar to guide local businesses on how to protect their businesses against threats such as a phishing attack.

Managing director Gordon Christie said, “Phishing attacks and cyber security in general continue to be a topic that is often overlooked by businesses until it faces them. Cyber attacks are evolving, becoming more sophisticated and happening more frequently. The cost of a cyber attack can be detrimental, whether that’s through downtime, loss of business and/or reputational damage.”

Having already hosted a number of successful free webinars on hybrid working and cyber security, the next webinar ‘Don’t take the bait! How to avoid a phishing attack’ will take place on Wednesday, 25 May from 10am – 11am. IT Hotdesk’s team of experts will explore cyber security, ways businesses can work to prevent cyber attacks as well as take businesses through real-life examples.
