FinTech Scotland has announced that the ninth FinTech Scotland Festival will take place from 30 September to 7 October 2026, with in-person and online events across the central belt of Scotland.

According to the announcement, the Festival “will bring together international industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, innovators and academics from across the UK and beyond; to discuss how Scottish fintech innovation drives growth, job creation and global competitiveness.”

The programme is set to “explore the future of financial services, spotlight the achievements of Scotland’s fintech cluster and spark new partnerships, with a strong emphasis on innovation fueling growth through delivering solutions to real world problems.”

The ninth edition lands the Festival firmly in Scotland’s autumn tech-events calendar and reinforces the country’s positioning as the largest fintech hub outside London. It is likely to be a focal point for Scottish banks, insurers, fintech startups and the wider financial-services community in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and gives founders, investors and policymakers a set date to plan around.

Full agenda, speaker line-up and event listings are expected to follow via FinTech Scotland in the run-up to launch.
